Commissioned by The Department, Rigging Team provided consultancy and work at height solutions for an installation on a lighthouse, located on Ocean Cay, Bahamas.
In just one week we facilitated the installation of lighting equipment and 14,000 LED pixel modules, turning the lighthouse into a visual focal point with animated images.
After undertaking a site visit, we formulated safe work at height methods and rescue procedures and produced comprehensive risk assessments. All access equipment, harnesses and accessories were shipped to site from our UK office as ‘ready to use’ kits.
Our remit also included provision of an experienced Height Safety Operative to supervise all work at height and undertake a rescue should it be required.
